As part of a global program to modernize the company’s workspaces around the world, Sanofi has moved into its new global headquarters in Paris. Named La Maison Sanofi, the 97,000 square-foot site has been designed to promote new hybrid ways of working, and allows the company’s employees to “better connect, collaborate, create, and celebrate.” The new HQ incorporates energy efficiency and environmental sustainability—each employee’s carbon footprint has been reduced by nearly 100% compared to the previous site.
The work floors contain collaborative zones and cocoon areas, and lighting changes throughout the day according to the brightness of the outside. The eco-designed furniture and decoration were studied and chosen in order to contribute to the comfort of the spaces with the use of warm colors, comfortable and sustainable materials, such as tables made from recycled glass bottles or floor coverings made from old fishing nets.
“The opening of La Maison Sanofi is another step toward the modern healthcare company we strive to become” says Paul Hudson, Sanofi’s CEO.
